Still remember when dad told “I was relieved the moment I landed in Oman and smelled the fresh air… and was calmed by the calmness the country provided… “, he had come back from India which is supposed to be a suffocating country when compared to Oman.
Yes, it is true that recently the crime rates in Oman has accelerated at an increasing rate, but still when it is compared to some other countries, where the crime rates are more than 11 million (US) and 6 million (UK) as per the 2012 NationMaster statistics, Oman is far much better placed at 75th position according to the statistics.
